Types of Presentation

Authors can submit abstracts under the following themes:
- Inquiry based science education
- Formal science education – the role of schools and universities
- Non- formal science education – the role of outreach programs, science centers and science museums
- Technology on science education

Plenary sessions

Speakers with international renown will be invited. The plenary sessions 's schedules will be confirmed after the call for abstracts is completed.
Plenary session's time limit: 30 minutes

Oral communications

Oral communications, gathered by themes, will be presented in parallel sessions
Oral communications ´s schedules will be confirmed after the call for abstracts is completed and presentations are selected.
Oral communication's duration: 10 to 15 minutes presentation + 2 to 5 minutes for discussion.

Posters

Authors can submit abstracts for panel presentations.
Posters will be displayed to the participants during
all conference period and on specific times for discussion.
Posters's format must be A0 (84x118 cm).

Workshops

Science communicators can present practical training aiming hands on activities, e.g. good practices of science education (techniques/methods of teaching/learning, educational software/hardware, all kinds of experiments,…). Workshops are expected to be delivered in 3 specific times during the conference period. Workshops ´s schedules will be confirmed after the call for abstracts is completed and workshops are selected.

Science fair

Science fair is an opportunity to present interactive demonstrations, students´ projects, simple experiments for the science promotion and motivation. Science fair will occur in 3 specific times during the conference period. Science fair ´s schedules will be confirmed after the call for abstracts is completed and science fairs are selected.

Scientific performances

Science communicators can present stage moments dedicated to scientific performances such as shows, plays, etc. Scientific performances will occur in 3 specific times during the conference period. Scientific performances's schedules will be confirmed after the call for abstracts is completed and presentations are selected.
Scientific performance's time limit: 20 to 60 minutes
